Is IE7 too late?
So is IE7 too late in the race? Maxthon, an IE-based browser has been with us for a long time already, though not popular in the West but popular here in Asia has finally entered the Western competition. I can still remember when it was still named as MyIE a browser dubbed as the “Chinese Browser” or “China Browser” (which is in fact inaccurate). Since then it slowly gained ground (though in the Philippines, its presence died and just stayed within home internet users).
TechCrunch posted an interesting article about Maxthon, levelling it equal or above Firefox and Opera (and definitely IE6) - Maxthon: the browser that rocks, then maybe before you judge Maxthon, try it yourself first, it doesn’t hurt at all, imagine all the exclusive stuff in IE like ActiveX controls available to you but with a secured browser? Visit and download (and switch) to Maxthon Browser.
